There HE goes on his way, going up without a hot-air balloon or wings, not even a ladder. HE can do it because HE is the "SON OF GOD."............................................... It has always mystified me how HE could navigate, as going up would send HIM to some particular point among the stars (Heaven) somewhere near Paradise of the Moslems. ...........................................Since the world is round, going "up" from different points on earth, must aim towards different places. Ah well, maybe I am not supposed to figure that out. Asking such awkward questions at the Anglican school I attended found me sent to the detention room, where the only book was a bible. I used to turn to Leviticus straight away. A lot of good stuff there, mate.

The Centre for the Defence of the Individual and B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights group, compiled the report after interviewing 73 Palestinians who had been arrested in 2005 and 2006.
The report found that almost 50% of detainees who were arrested in raids or at random were beaten by the army or police before they were handed over to the Shin Bet security agency for interrogation. The prisoners were interrogated for an average of 35 days and spent most of their time in tiny cells in solitary confinement. They were interrogated from five to 10 hours a day. More than half did not see a lawyer or representative of the Red Cross for the whole period of interrogation.
The report found that prisoners were effectively starved by being offered food designed to appear rotten or unappetising. Their only exercise was the walk from the cell to the interrogation room during which they were shackled, handcuffed and blindfolded. In some cases more extreme treatment was used. One in five detainees were deprived of sleep for up to three days and a quarter were beaten by their interrogators.
Out of more than 500 complaints against Shin Bet since 2001, not a single one has been upheld. Israel's justice ministry said Shin Bet interrogations were carried out in accordance with the law, although it declined to comment ..... .*************************************************************************************************** How many Jews were murdered by the Nazis? I do not know. It could have been millions. It was a horrible ongoing series of events by a regime which had the support of the German people and Nation, the Third Reich. This is a mystery how a people the Germans who are intelligent, hardworking and good family people could do it. After all Jews are people too and made a great contribution to the German economy and arts. Thousands fought for Germany in the First World War. The Jewish religion is closely connected to Christianity which came from it, as did Islam. It is hard to find the reason unless one delves deeper. I think I have a clue. Jews consider themselves special and exclusive. They consider themselves "God's chosen people." In other words that they are better than other peoples. Jews have a tight-knit organization of self-help centred around the synagogue. They help one another, that is, OTHER JEWS. Because of this they achieve more and become more prosperous. This creates surplus cash which they have invested with interest and sometimes becomes the basis for large loans to governments and kings. This started long ago in the middle ages. Naturally this financial power has grown so you have Jewish investment in large banks and corporations, especially the multi-national corporations. Of course Jews are not the only ones doing it. British, Arab, Japanese, even teachers' pension funds are doing the same thing. The trouble was that the Jews were some of the first in the game, and their success and prosperity and especially their aloof exclusiveness created jealousy and suspicion among other groups who were not so well- organized and much poorer. This was the case after the First World war in Germany when the nation was obliged to pay huge reparations to France and England. German people were suffering, actually starving. World-wide there was a depression and unemployment was very high. When German parents have children crying for something to eat, it is easy to believe a brilliant but half-crazy demagogue, whose grandmother was reputed to have been seduced by a Jew that the JEWS ARE TO BLAME FOR EVERYTHING. Well, that is what happened. The Jews were reviled and blamed simply for being Jewish. Millions including pathetic little children were experimented on and exterminated by lethal injections of phenol, shot in the back of the head, made to dig their own graves or killed in poison gas ovens.
You can't blame Jews for appearing to be paranoid about it happening again. It is not paranoid, it is justifiable
concern.
It could happen again....of course not just to Jews, but to any group of humans in ther world. Atrocities and racism are happening today in many parts of the world.
Human beings are really one people. What happens to Jews, Gypsies, Iraqis, Tamils or so-called sexual deviants (gays?) happens to you and me also....because though it might not appear so, we are one human family.....even those bloody Germans.
I think it regrettable that Jews, the Jewish Press and especially the Israelis do not mention the millions of non-Jews who also went into the concentration camps and were killed, tortured, starved and experimented on. There were Jehovah Witnesses, homosexuals, members of other German political parties, Gypsies, Poles, Russians, prisoners of war, resistance fighters, handicapped,( both mentally and physically) and quite a lot of others. JEWS were not the only ones to suffer.
If Jews want to be liked better by others then they should include all non-Jews as their brothers in humanity, including Palestinian Muslims.
I think it is their exclusiveness that has made others look askance at them. I am willing to include all Jews as my brothers in this amazing human family.
When will the Jews include me as their brother?
Maybe this is stretching it a bit, but consider:
Jewish law says that you are a Jew because your mother was a Jew. If your father was Jewish and your mother was not, then yiou are not a Jew.
If Adolf Hitler had been accepted as a Jew then probably he would not have been so anti-Jewish.
The story goes and there is a lot of evidence to back it, Hitler's grandmother was a servant in a prosperous Jewish house. She was seduced by a male member of the family, maybe a son.
Anyway she had a baby, Alois Schicklgruber and this boy was supported with an allowance and school fees for years by the Jewish employer.
Alois' son was Adolph Hitler or Heidler, who was a very mixed up young man, and who supported himself with not so bad landscapes of Vienna and fervently wished to study to become an architect, but he was dirt poor.
Now, if Hitler had been Jewish under Jewish law and not just quarter Jewish unofficially, most probably all those millions of murders of Jews (and others) might have been averted. So Jewish Law was indirectly responsible for the millions of Jewish deaths.
