http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Korea/LF04Dg02.htmlSo China says it was the Americans who sank the South Korean vessel the Cheonan to stir up trouble, not the North Koreans.
This is unbelievable, right?
That would be hard to believe, So why believe it?
Not so fast. China may be right. If you have a closed mind that U.S.A. is always right, don't bother to read this article. You are too brainwashed already, otherwise............

See Pyongyang sees a US role in Cheonan sinking
In a highly significant development, the Chinese navy took the extraordinary step of quietly letting two American Internet sites know the findings of an independent technical assessment its naval intelligence arm made of the corvette's sinking, which took place about 1 nautical mile (1.9 kilometers) off the south-west coast of Baengnyeong Island in the Yellow Sea.
Chinese findings
One of the US websites was the Washington-based investigative Wayne Madsen Report [1], while the other was New America Media, a California-based website that is the US's largest coalition of ethnic media with over 2,500 partners [2].
New America Media posted an article on May 26, "Did an American Mine Sink South Korean Ship?". The Madsen Report article, dated May 28, was entitled "Beijing Suspects False Flag Attack on South Korean Corvette."
The NAM story said: "In the recent US-China strategic talks in Shanghai and Beijing, the Chinese side dismissed the official scenario presented by the Americans and their South Korean allies as not credible." http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Korea/LF04Dg02.html
I am not in the position to know which scenario is correct and who is to blame.
However the sinking of the Cheonan made me wonder what motive North Korea had to sink it.
For the past several years or so North Korea and South Korea have been engaged in friendly dialogue and the mad-dog to the north has been gradually tamed by trade, humanitarian supplies (mostly food) from the South. So it did not make sense that North Korea would do such an act which would surely be counter-productive to the thawing of relations with the South.
On the other hand who would gain by the sinking?
I am sorry to say, the United States. How? Well for some time Japan has been trying to close the American base on Okinawa. The Japanese public is against the base because of the numbers of rapes and murders of Okinawans by American troops, for one thing.
The greater tension from the ship sinking has given the base on Okinawa an extended life.
Japan and the U.S. do not want a closer co-operation between North and South Korea, because, Greater Korea would become a threat to Japanese industry and exports.
That is why the allegation that the U.S. (dirty tricks) involvement in the ship sinking should be examined very closely. The U.S. has an unsavory history of stirring up trouble in the world for its own perceived advantage. Luckily electronic communication and intelligent news gatherers have made dirty tricks harder to keep quiet.
The latest incident may be another nail in the coffin of the United States' attempt at dominating the world, should the U.S. be proven the bad guy (again). (Ric.)
